Window replacement
New energy-efficient aluminium windows with thermal break and low-E glazing. Drastic reduction in heat losses and improved sound insulation.

Subsidy programme for the extensive energy upgrade of existing homes in Cyprus. Pipakis Aluminium supports you with the works we know best: aluminium windows and shading systems that count towards your final energy savings calculation.
The Scheme aims at the extensive energy upgrade of existing homes by individuals. It is not just a subsidy — it is a holistic investment that lowers electricity bills, increases property value and noticeably improves daily life at home.
Eligible investments include thermal insulation of the building shell, window replacement, shading systems, solar water heating systems, heat pumps, photovoltaic net-billing systems, energy storage batteries, and qualified expert services.
The investment categories below are eligible for subsidy, provided their combination achieves a primary energy saving of at least 60%.
New energy-efficient aluminium windows with thermal break and low-E glazing. Drastic reduction in heat losses and improved sound insulation.
External shutters, louvers, pergolas and fixed aluminium shading systems. They reduce summer heat load and boost air-conditioning efficiency.
External wall and roof insulation that markedly reduces winter heat losses and summer thermal load.
A new high-efficiency solar water heater for an immediate reduction in electricity used for domestic hot water.
High-efficiency heating and cooling systems that replace older, energy-intensive heating solutions.
Installation of a photovoltaic system operating under net-billing, for self-generation and reduced EAC bills.
Energy storage batteries that maximise self-consumption from your photovoltaic system.
Costs for the issuance of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and other services by qualified experts.
Among the most efficient interventions in the Scheme are the works we know best: replacing old windows with high-efficiency aluminium systems, and installing external shading systems. They markedly reduce heat losses, improve sound insulation, and raise the home's energy rating — weighing substantially in the 60% calculation.
Every home is different, but the following ranges help you estimate the total cost. With the Scheme's subsidy, the final amount can be reduced significantly.
Prices are indicative and may vary depending on each property's needs. For an accurate quote on aluminium windows and shading systems, contact the Pipakis Aluminium team.
Any individual undertaking energy upgrade works on their existing home has the right to apply, with one application only per person within this call.
The home must belong to an individual and must not be used by anyone for economic activity.
Existing EAC account on residential tariff, in the name of an individual.
The home's first connection to the grid must have been before 1/1/2008, or the planning/building permit application must have been submitted before 21/12/2007.
The initial Energy Performance Certificate must be issued after 15/05/2026 by a Qualified Expert.
Comparing the initial and final EPC, primary energy savings must be at least 60%.
Each individual is entitled to submit only one application within this call.
When the order is followed properly, your application progresses without surprises and every investment counts towards the final calculation.
A Qualified Expert issues the initial Energy Performance Certificate after 15/05/2026.
Define the package of interventions (windows, shading, insulation, heat pump, PV, etc.) that achieves a saving of ≥ 60%.
The call for proposals is announced within September by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce & Industry.
All eligible investments are carried out after the issuance of the initial EPC, retaining invoices and photographic documentation.
Issuance of the final EPC and verification of savings for the subsidy to be granted.
Request a site survey and a quote for aluminium windows and shading systems that meet the Scheme's requirements and integrate seamlessly into your final EPC calculation.
